Job description

CenerTech Canada Ltd. is seeking a Laborer with minimum 3 years oilsands Projects experience join the team to support the Fort McMurray region. In this role, the successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining the highest level of professional risk management and driving safety culture. We are a team of dedicated professionals who take pride in the work we do, the exceptional customers we serve, this position is in the Fort McMurray, AB area on a client site and it is a 14/14.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct various ground labor duties including clean-up
  • Other tasks asked by management
  • Organize and track tools and materials for execution team
  • Support trades in work execution
  • Prepare work packages for field execution
  • Observe, monitor and document efficiency of third party resources
  • Perform Confined Space Monitor, Man-watch, Bottle watch and Spark watch
  • Perform work and operate all equipment in a safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, company and site policies/procedures
  • Provide manual labor services as and when required
  • Ensure all equipment is safely and securely stored;
  • Maintain daily records and reports as required;
  • Industrial setting, working under permit and FLHA
  • Work well with others in a team atmosphere;
  • Able to accept change in priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  • Other duties as required by supervisor/manager.
Qualifications
  • CSTS-20
  • Valid Driver License
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Heavy Commercial, Industrial or Oil Gas sector
