This role entails overseeing lab operations, ensuring quality control, and managing a team of laboratory technicians. Candidates should have prior manufacturing experience, including edging and glazing, along with strong communication skills. We are seeking an experienced Lab Supervisor for a well established optical manufacturing client in Delta. This position will oversee a team of lab techs in a fast paced environment. This role has complete accountability on a day-to-day basis for edging, quality control and workflow planning for all frame to follow internal and 3rd party jobs, with a high focus on quality standards and manufacturing lead-times. It emphasizes a high level of autonomy and independence and requires promptly addressing any quality or operational issues by reporting them to the Customer Service Supervisor as soon as they arise.
