A competitive lighting product supplier in Canada is seeking a Junior Purchaser to assist with operational support and logistics. You will be responsible for creating purchase orders, managing vendor communications, and coordinating shipping. The ideal candidate should have experience with purchasing and customs procedures, alongside excellent communication and negotiation skills. Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with purchasing both domestic and foreign.
• Experience shipping with FedEx and other (inter)national carriers.
• Experience with knowledge of customs procedures.
• Excellent computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and send purchase orders within Lightform's ERP system.
• Communicate with vendors for order confirmations and shipping dates.
• Arrange shipping from vendors and fulfill the orders.
• Negotiate with freight forwarders for better rates.
• Work with LightForm Customer Service on Returns, VRMAs, and RMAs.
