A leading energy and utilities provider is seeking a Junior Project Manager to lead Capital Projects within the IT Division. This role involves collaborative teamwork, overseeing project lifecycle activities, and ensuring safety practices are followed. Candidates should have a relevant post-secondary certificate, three years of applicable experience, and a valid driver's license. Working in a team environment, the IT, Junior Project Manager will lead the implementation of Capital Projects for the Information Technology Division throughout the project lifecycle, working closely with different departments in a multidisciplinary environment. These activities include but are not limited to coordinating resources (internal and external), overseeing construction activities, managing contracts, following project schedules, supporting project scoping, cost control and budgeting, and creating reports as required by the project or the department. All of these while following NTPC's best work practices and safety regulations.
The Junior Project manager is expected to develop skills and competence and transition to the role of Project Manager.
Salary for this position ranges from $57.85/hr-$70.28/hr. plus a location allowance of approximately $3,823 per annum. Relocation assistance will be provided.
