A Day in the Life

  • Manage and maintain the Workflow Request Queue in SuccessFactors Employee Central for assigned Payroll Area
  • Process a weekly payroll for approx. 1000 union and non-unionized hourly employees
  • Ensure compliance with Federal & Provincial Payroll legislation and company policies
  • Process payroll adjustments, including bonuses, deductions, allowances etc. as required
  • Run payroll departmental reports as required
  • Print and distribute pay statements and/or cheques on a weekly basis
  • Assist in the processing of record of employments on a weekly basis
  • Maintain employee records as per government regulations
  • Monitor and address employee inquiries from the Payroll Support Helpdesk
  • Liaison with branches on payroll related items
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive payroll information
  • Assist with other payroll-related duties as assigned
What we are seeking:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Processing Payroll
  • Minimum 1 year of SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel/Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Accuracy and attention to detail a must
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • CPA Certification an asset
