A leading automation technology provider is seeking a Junior Mechanical Designer to support the design and development of mechanical test systems. The role involves collaborating with engineers and fabricators, performing design calculations, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Candidates should have a post-secondary diploma in mechanical design or engineering and experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD. This position is based in Vaughan, Canada.

ATS Test provides PC based solutions for complex test systems that need high accuracy, high data collection and advanced analysis. Our core competencies include electrical functional testing, electro-mechanical testing, and pneumatic and hydraulic leak and flow testing.
As a Junior Mechanical Designer, you will support the design and development of mechanical test systems and components under supervision, assist in producing drawings and documentation, collaborate with internal teams and vendors, and follow safety, quality, and documentation standards. You will be assisting in creating and implementing mechanical test systems and components for our customers across industries.
In this role you will collaborate with engineers, programmers, and fabricators to bring test systems from concept to full integration and commissioning. You’ll apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to tackle complex challenges— assisting to deliver reliable, precise systems in some of the most regulated and demanding environments.
