Qualifications

  • Ability to plan a delivery run for the city and surrounding areas.
  • Can clearly set expectations and assign tasks focusing on safety and service.
  • Must be flexible with shift schedules, including evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to learn operations at the dock.
  • Must be capable of training new hires.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Foreman in leading the dock crew.
  • Ensure safe unloading/loading of equipment.
  • Conduct daily audits for quality control.
  • Report daily on equipment issues.
  • Mentor and lead dock crew staff.

Job Description
  • The Junior Foreman supports the Foreman.
  • By leading the dock crew to safely unload and load linehaul and city equipment. In order meet service targets.
  • Leads on safety and compliance to help create safe work culture and compliance to processes.
  • On Forklift as well some manual work is required.
  • Quality Task Audits daily and reporting on any gaps.
  • Reports daily on any equipment issues forklifts and Hand Jacks.
  • Reports daily on any near miss
  • Leadership, able to mentor and lead.
  • Must be able to cover Foreman shifts at time with little notice as well as vacation days etc.
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of city of Winnipeg and surrounding rural towns-ability to plan a delivery run.
  • Leadership skills can clearly set expectations and assign tasks with company safety targets and service targets in mind.
  • Flexibility with little notice to work a variety of shifts. this shift start late evening and early mornings and weekends.
  • Willing to learn to run the am dock,
