Position Details

• Hours : 40 hours per week
• Salary Range : $50,000 to $65,000 per year
• Location : Hybrid

Role Overview

The Jr. Software Developer will work within a team to participate in the development and delivery of enterprise software. Experience enterprise software development using a wide range of cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced and agile workspace.

Organizational Relationship

Reports to the Development Manager.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise software solutions.
• Write clean, scalable, and efficient code in C# and .NET framework.
• Develop and integrate Restful Webservices and APIs to connect various software components and services.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team meetings to continuously improve processes and deliverables.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience and proficiency in object-oriented programming, specifically the .NET framework and C#
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, and StencilJS
• Experience with relational databases such as MS SQL Server and Postgres
• Experience with web technologies such as RESTful Webservices and APIs
• Experience with debugging large and integrated systems, both client and server
• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft DevOps is a plus
• Experience with using component libraries (e.g. MUI) is a plus
• Team-oriented mindset with experience collaborating in diverse environments

Education and Experience

• Diploma in computer science or equivalent experience
• Experience with software development tools, such as Git, Visual Studio, VS Code, JIRA, and Azure DevOps.
• Ability to develop software in .NET, C#, React, JavaScript and / or other programming languages.
• Experience developing web applications using at least one popular web framework
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g. SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and data modeling technique
