Job description

OurCrowd is seeking a driven, relationship-oriented Junior Account Manager to join our global Investor Relations team. This role is ideal for professionals with a finance or investment background who are eager to connect accredited investors with exclusive venture capital and alternative investment opportunities.

As a Junior Account Manager, you’ll build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing accredited investors, understand their investment goals, and guide them through opportunities in startups, funds, and alternative investing. You’ll play a key role in expanding our investor network and deepening engagement with our platform.

This position is based out of our downtown Toronto office at Yonge and Richmond. We offer comprehensive health benefits, a generous vacation policy, and a collaborative, supportive work environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Articulate OurCrowd’s unique value proposition and specific investment opportunities to prospective and existing investors
  • Engage investors through thoughtful outreach, personalized conversations, and targeted updates.
  • Assess investor interests, qualify leads, and track activity in Salesforce.
  • Guide new investors through onboarding, assist with their initial investments at OurCrowd, and build the newly established relationship into a long-term partnership.
  • Strengthen relationships with your existing investor book through proactive follow-up and exceptional service.
  • Collaborate across teams to achieve shared goals and deliver a seamless investor experience.
  • Coordinate with other departments to address investor inquiries efficiently.
  • Strive to consistently meet and exceed performance targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business or a related field – Required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, investment banking, or investor relations – Required.
  • Experience with startups, venture capital, or funds is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with clients at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and/or Salesloft – advantage.
  • A natural curiosity for business, finance, and innovation.
  • Self-motivation, resourcefulness, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • A collaborative mindset and positive team spirit.

Base salary range of $50,000–$65,000 CAD annually, commensurate with experience. This position includes a non-guaranteed, performance-based commission structure (variable compensation), which is not included in the base salary range.
