• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract.
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Rates & Premiums

• Base hourly rate: $43.75/hour
• Skilled trade premium: $5/hour in the following Ontario locations (Agawa, Wawa, Hornepayne, Chapleau, Hinkler, White River)

Work Conditions

• Full-time, 10-hour shifts
• Flexible to work rotation
• Travel to various field operations may be required
• Benefits provided by CLAC (Health, Dental, RSP and Pension)

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repair of heavy construction and maintenance equipment (plow and sanding trucks, loaders, light support gear)
• Follow manufacturer and internal maintenance programs and inspection procedures
• Engage with Ledcor safety policies and procedures
• Complete maintenance records and documentation as required

Qualifications

• Must have a 310T Truck and Coach ticket from a recognized provincial authority
• Experience with heavy civil construction and/or highway paving/maintenance equipment (e.g., snowplows) is an asset
• 421A Heavy Equipment Technician ticket is an asset
• Valid Driver's License and ability to provide a 3-year driver’s abstract
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions (may include sketches and diagrams)
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
