A leading utility contractor in Ontario is seeking a Journeyperson Electrician for their Substation group. This field-based role involves leading construction activities for medium and high voltage electrical systems, including overseeing installations and maintaining safety protocols. Candidates should have 4 years of construction experience and a Journeyman certification. The position requires managing small work groups and working an 8 day on / 6 day off rotation. Our Substation group is currently looking to add a Journeyperson Electrician to our growing team.
Reporting to the Substation Construction Foreman, the role of Substation Construction Electrician is to perform site construction activities individually or with small, dedicated workgroups. In this role the Journeymen Electrician is expected to Lead and participate in the construction of medium and high voltage electrical systems within a substation while ensuring project construction is executed effectively and safely.
Please Note: This is a field-based position working an 8 day on / 6 day off rotation that can be based from Winnipeg, MB or Dryden, ON. LOA is provided. May be opportunity initially for some longer shifts.
