We are seeking a dedicated Journeyman Millwright to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. This role requires a keen eye for troubleshooting equipment, executing complex corrective and preventive maintenance, and optimizing work order planning.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
Execute complex corrective and preventive maintenance tasks.
Optimize work order planning to enhance efficiency.
Drive improvements in work order effectiveness.
Maintain accurate documentation, including logs, reports, and inventory records.
Contribute to best practices across the organization.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food quality standards.
Proficiency in electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance.
1-5 years of experience as a Journeyman Millwright.
Experience in manufacturing.
Experience as a maintenance technician.
Experience working on conveyor systems, bottle and can lines, pasteurizer equipment, and palletizers.
Ability to perform waterline repairs.
Experience in general maintenance and servicing.
Capability to break down lines and install new parts for existing equipment.
Experience with newer installations, although infrequent.
Knowledge of electrical components, albeit limited.
The work involves continuous standing or walking, regular lifting or handling of moderate weight materials, and repetitive tasks. Shifts rotate between mornings, afternoons, and nights, with optional overtime depending on operational demands. The environment is subject to mental stress due to deadlines, production quotas, and accuracy demands.
