A leading insurance provider is seeking a Business Development Representative in Moncton, Canada. This role focuses on maintaining brokerage relationships and driving business growth while collaborating with various departments. Candidates should have a minimum of three years' experience in insurance, preferably in Property & Casualty, along with strong communication skills and the ability to analyze data effectively. A hybrid work model is offered with flexibility to work both in-office and remotely.
Employment Type: Existing Role.
Working Business Language: English. This role is considered a head‑office role and will require communication with internal and external stakeholders across Canada.
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 annually, plus a competitive bonus plan, leave of absence, top‑up programs, generous vacation and personal days, premium free benefits, and a pension plan.
About Us: At Wawanesa we offer a hybrid work environment with flexibility to work in‑office (2 days per week or 15 hours per week) or remotely from Moncton, NB; Dartmouth, NS.
Under direct supervision, the Business Development Representative will maintain brokerage relationships between Wawanesa and its brokerage network, assist in developing and achieving targeted business goals with contracted brokers, and develop opportunities to grow the business with new brokerages and territories within the region.
