Qualifications

What will be your daily pursuit?

As a part of the Glacier Adventure team, Bus and fleet detailers provide the utmost first impression to our guests and team members by upkeeping the cleanliness of our vehicle's interiors and exteriors. Typically, Detailers work outside in beautiful mountain surroundings during the afternoon and evenings. Attention to detail is paramount, but a passion for our vehicles and their cleanliness is the most important aspect of this position.

What will your compensation be?

The starting salary for this position is $16.50.

When does this adventure begin?

This is a full-time seasonal position, beginning July 1 and running until October 18, 2025.

What will you do in this job?
  • Clean the exterior and interior of all our fleet vehicles, including but not limited to motorcoaches, Ice Explorers and light fleet vehicles
  • Be a proactive, engaged and empowered member of the team who can be relied upon to support their co‑workers and do their daily tasks
  • Operating a pressure washer
  • Maintaining the Transfer Bay and parking lots areas cleanliness
  • Maintain the inventory counts of cleaning supplies throughout the season
  • Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
  • Follow all safety standards, practices and requirements defined for the role
  • Other duties as assigned
What skills and experience do you need for this job?
  • Alberta Class 5 License (unrestricted) or equivalent, required
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and capable of manual duties (bend, stoop, squat and stretch), required
  • Detail-oriented mindset and a passion for cleanliness
  • Willingness to acquire a Class 4 commercial driver’s license (we will train for this)
  • Organization and time management skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference is the most important aspect of this position!
  • Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
  • Fluent and articulate in English, able to communicate and comprehend over two‑way radio, required
  • Ability to think on the fly and outside the box to solve problems with a positive attitude
  • Mature, energetic, dependable and self‑motivated
  • Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment
  • Must enjoy working outdoors, even in challenging mountain weather conditions
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods of time in an outdoor environment. Be prepared to be exposed to all types of weather (Snow, Rain, Wind, Hail)
  • Must meet the Organization's grooming and appearance standards
