Overview

INVENTORY SUPERVISOR Overview: Inventory Supervisors are responsible for the supervision of events, while guiding Inventory Associates and acting as the first point of contact to resolve any event concerns in support of and at the direction of the District Manager. Inventory Supervisors assist and direct other employees with daily tasks and interact with customers to ensure exceptional service. The Inventory Supervisor embodies the SPIRT values of Service, Pride, Integrity, Results, Innovation, and Teamwork, customer obsession, and makes safety and security a personal mission.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities
  • Leads, in concert with the Area Manager, on-site inventories at various customer locations, utilizing WIS standardized processes to achieve operational excellence.
  • Assists with the planning and execution of district travel and equipment logistics.
  • Addresses any immediate concerns at an inventory event.
  • Exhibits customer obsession through exemplary customer service, including but not limited to, professional and timely communication, sense of urgency, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • Ensures Inventory Associates are educated on event procedures and have guidance for each event.
  • Always demonstrates safe behaviors and ensures the safety of all Inventory Associates at an event.
  • Acts as a backup to the Area Manager at given events.
  • Exhibits strong work-ethic while focusing on team-oriented goals and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
  • Acts as an expert on WIS core values, safety protocols, and policies.
  • Leads by example and demonstrates the core SPIRIT values.
Qualifications

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Inventory Associate or similar role.

Computer Skills: Keying skills preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and/or may be required to meet the fleet driver requirements depending on the district or regional needs. Must be willing to submit to a background check and/or motor vehicle record check.

Language Skills: English is the primary language; however, bilingual skills may be required in some areas.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements: Must have the ability to adapt to changing working conditions, such as standing and sitting for long periods of time, as well as frequent walking. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

Additional Requirements: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong time-management skills, excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills, ability to work flexible schedules with varying hours in support of the Zone Manager and customer commitments.

Work Environment: Inventories take place in a field environment such as warehouses, outside industries, retail stores, etc. Every scheduled shift will be at different location within the defined district coverage. This position requires frequent travel via automobile and occasional travel by plane.
