A community health center in Listuguj is seeking an Intervention Support Worker to provide one-on-one support for children experiencing developmental delays. The role focuses on guiding daily activities and implementing tailored programs to foster inclusion and growth. Ideal candidates will possess a diploma in Early Childhood Education, experience or willingness to work with special needs children, and current First Aid certification. This position offers a fixed-term contract of one year with a January 2026 start date.

Under the supervision of the Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g Director, the Intervention Support Worker (ISW) is responsible for supporting the identified child during daily activities in the childcare setting. The ISW is a part of an integrated team and will provide early intervention support to one child experiencing developmental delays. The ISW is responsible for guiding and implementing developmentally appropriate programs that are strength based, child-centered and family-directed to maximize success. The location of work for the position is at the Mawo’Itijig Mijjuaji’g childcare centre.
