A leading engineering firm in Vancouver is seeking an experienced Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer to join their Power Delivery team. This role involves leading and supporting transmission line projects, ensuring successful project execution and quality deliverables. Over the decades, we have developed a comprehensive range of services, including technical study preparation in niche areas, project management, detailed design, and site services. Our expertise is widely recognized in the market for both development and rehabilitation projects. To meet our growth challenges, WSP's Canadian team is currently seeking an Intermediate Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery team, located in our BC offices (Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo, Prince George, Kelowna or Kamloops). WSP is a leader in the delivery of Power sector solutions to meet the increasing demand for safe, secure, and sustainable energy for Canadians which requires a substantial refresh and expansion of the electricity network. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and consulting experience in T&D projects - specific to transmission lines. The projects include, but not limited to, greenfield and brownfield projects, high-voltage utility systems and renewable energy interconnection projects. This role involves close collaboration with clients and stakeholders to understand their engineering needs, ensuring successful project coordination, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. We work with both public and private sector clients on innovative projects, providing opportunities for our team members to showcase their expertise and mentor the next generation of passionate professionals. In this role, you will help bring WSP's vast expertise, experience, and innovation to support our clients, utilities, and communities in the transformation to a new energy future. Salary range (in British Columbia): $91,200- $125,400
