Key Responsibilities

The Intermediate Electrical Engineer supports senior engineers in the design, coordination, and execution of projects within their area of specialization. This role requires technical competence, collaboration with internal and external teams, and the ability to deliver compliant, high-quality designs.

Design & Technical Execution

• Perform design work for the assigned discipline in compliance with relevant codes and standards
• Support drafting team with technical input and drawing markups
• Prepare specifications, technical reports, and calculations
• Conduct site visits and surveys to collect data or verify design applicability

Project Coordination

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and consultants to coordinate designs
• Attend project meetings and communicate progress with internal teams
• Assist in preparing proposals, schedules, and cost estimates

Documentation & Quality Control

• Review design documents for accuracy and completeness
• Support QA / QC reviews of project deliverables
• Assist with drawing reviews and revisions
• Take liability on design and stamp discipline specific design packages when acting as Engineer of Record (EOR)

Construction Administration

• Conduct field reviews and respond to contractor inquiries
• Provide technical assistance during construction
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering Required
• A Professional Engineer Designation P'Eng required
• Bilingualism Required (French and English)
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience
• Ability to balance and prioritize multiple ongoing projects / tasks
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD programs
• Strong knowledge in Ontario electrical safety code, Ontario building code
• You know ETAP or Easy power added advantage.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Teams)
• High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
• Effective communication skills (English), both verbal and written
• French is an asset
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to work independently and as a team member
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range $80,000 to $105,000 based on experience

Conception et excution technique

• Effectuer des travaux de conception pour la discipline assigne en conformit avec les codes est normes applicable.
• Soutenir lquipe de dessin en fournissant des donnes techniques et des annotations aux documents.

Prparer des devis, rapports techniques et calculs

Effectuer des visites et relevs de site pour amasser des donnes ou vrifier lapplicabilit des conceptions

Coordination de projet

• Collaborer avec les architectes, ingnieurs et consultants afin de coordonner les conceptions.
• Participer aux runions de projet et communiquer lavancement aux quipes internes.

Contribuer la prparation des propositions, des chanciers et des estimations de cots.

Documentation et contrle de la qualit

• Vrifier lexactitude et lexhaustivit des documents de conception.
• Soutenir les examens de contrle qualit (QA / QC) des livrables de projets.

Aider la rvision et la correction des plans et devis.

Assumer la responsabilit de la conception et apposer son sceau sur les plans spcifiques sa discipline lorsquil / elle agit en tant quIngnieur responsable (EOR) du projet.

Administration de la construction

• Effectuer des inspections sur le terrain et rpondre aux demandes des entrepreneurs.
• Fournir une assistance technique pendant la construction.
• Excuter toutes autres tches qui pourraient lui tre confies
