Qualifications
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
  • Member or eligibility for membership in ASET.
  • 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to:
    • Water Distribution Systems.
    • Wastewater Collection Systems.
    • Stormwater Management Systems.
    • Site Grading.
    • Transportation.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general construction methods.
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Civil3D software.
Responsibilities
  • Perform general project duties including preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist.
  • Develop, prepare, and review civil engineering design drawings, coordinating with the engineering Design Team.
  • Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required.
  • Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors.
  • Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines.
