Qualifications

• Must be registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
• Experience in the hydroelectric field is an asset.
• Knowledge of Canadian Dam Association Dam Safety Guidelines is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural analysis and design for various structures.
• Prepare all project deliverables including reports and drawings.
• Review shop drawings and contractor’s submittals.

Skills

5+ years of experience in civil/structural engineering

Strong structural analysis and engineering design skills

Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office

Experience with Mathcad and STAAD.Pro

Exceptional problem solving/analytical skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

Master’s degree in civil engineering
