In your position as a broker team member, you will play a key role in guiding customers through tailored insurance solutions while delivering an exceptional, transparent buying experience. You will work closely with senior management and the sales team, using modern digital tools to engage customers, explain coverage options, and support them throughout the policy lifecycle, including claims navigation.

Core Responsibilities
- Proficient in modern sales methods and consultative selling techniques
- Highly proficient with computer software, including systems such as Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and various CRM/BMS platforms
- Self-starter and task-oriented with motivation to connect with a high volume of inbound customers by phone/email/sms each day
- Ability to understand and assess the needs of the customer
- Capability of understanding and explaining insurance offerings and providing the appropriate coverage solutions
- Strong problem-solving and excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Familiarity with the automotive market and vehicles is an asset, enabling you to better understand customer needs and tailor solutions.
- Maintain a courteous and customer-first focus to deliver exceptional customer service and sales experiences
- Answer customer inquiries through phone, online chat, and email
- Keep informed and have deep knowledge of our products and services
- Gather complete and accurate information from customers to ensure timely follow-up and provide the most appropriate product offerings
- Maintain a close attention to detail with accurate and thorough records
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to support retention and referrals
- First point of contact for claims inquiries before they are assigned to an adjuster (Training on claims processes will be provided)
Reporting & Systems
- Use and maintain company CRM and broker management systems to track leads, sales activity, and customer engagement
- Provide key insights and observations to management to maximize results and drive engagement
- Track and report customer engagement using various software systems
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with internal processes and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid General Level 1 Insurance Licence in the provinces where Obvi operates
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a consultative sales mindset
- Proficiency with modern software tools, including Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel) and CRM/BMS systems
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Comfortable engaging with dozens of customers daily via phone and digital channels
- Familiarity with the automotive market is considered an asset
