What We’re Looking For

Our Community Branch Network Division is growing and we’re seeking a client-focused Insurance Advisors! We want someone who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment. Our Richmond location is our largest and busiest branch, located in the largest auto mall in Western Canada; this busy branch services multiple dealerships within the Richmond Auto Mall.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICBC and private auto coverage in the office and dealerships.
• Assist in the office as needed by helping customers at the counter, answering telephones, and everything in between.
• Handle customer complaints with professionalism and understanding.
• Set and adhere to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan and Private Auto Sales production.
• Ensure compliance with all insurers, the Insurance Council of BC, and Privacy Act rules and regulations.
• Maintain ICBC inventory control and correct handling of all documentation and funds.
• Grow professionally through ongoing development to enhance skills and abilities.
• Represent HUB and uphold HUB values, mission, and vision.

Qualifications

• Level 1 General Insurance License.
• 6+ months of previous insurance experience; ideally as a Road Advisor.
• Strong written and verbal communication; experienced in building relationships with clients through a customer service mindset.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a high sales drive and initiative.
• Valid driver’s license and own vehicle to travel to dealership locations.

Asset experience that will make you stand out:

• Industry designation or working towards one.
• Working proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese.

Salary range: The expected salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
