A leading engineering company in Canada seeks an Instrumentation, Electrical & Controls Manager. This role involves planning and supervising a team, ensuring the accuracy of design deliverables and providing high-level engineering guidance. Applicants should have over 10 years' experience in the field, including leadership roles, and possess a relevant technical degree or diploma. The position offers opportunities for project coordination and client liaising.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plan, supervise and coordinate a team of instrumentation, controls and electrical technologists, engineers and design drafting staff
Resource allocation and planning for the departments in conjunction with the Engineering Managers planning and scheduling department
Ensure all required design deliverables are provided to other departments in a timely manner
Provide high level engineering guidance to the instrumentation, control and electrical departments
Responsible for the accuracy of estimates and designs proposed for instrumentation, control and electrical systems
Manage the development of EI&C departments design standards and tools and communicate and train staff
Acting as a client liaison for the scope of instrumentation, controls and electrical on projects
Project coordination and liaison with other disciplines
Participating in Client meetings as necessary
Participating in Engineering Planning Meetings
