A northern post-secondary institution is seeking an Institutional Research Analyst to manage data collection and reporting. A unit that gathers, analyzes and provides data and reports to support evidence-based planning and decision-making. It provides business intelligence, develops key performance metrics and supplies analytics, reports and system-level comparisons to support Yukon University in measuring and upholding accountabilities at the territorial level and within the national post-secondary sector.
Institutional Research maintains clean, usable data to advance planning documents and is responsible for the quality of data shared with Yukon Governments.
This position requires a strong understanding of most university areas, including business and academic functions. You will communicate effectively and build trusting relationships with university and external colleagues. You will scan the environment for information and techniques to improve processes and ensure data and reports are relevant to specific audiences.
The Institutional Research Analyst reports directly to the President and Vice-Chancellor. The position is located at the Ayamdigut Campus in Whitehorse and is a full-time on-site role.
