As the Inside Sales Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for carrying out all inside sales duties with precision and a commitment to exceptional service. Your role will be crucial in processing orders, managing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of customer orders received by telephone, fax, EDI, email, and web platforms.
• Provide timely and thorough follow-up on all customer inquiries, including stock checks, order status, and product information.
• Communicate relevant information to customers regarding changes in company policy, product pricing, and availability.
• Assist with the daily release of orders for delivery and perform clerical duties to support office operations.
• Service customers directly at the sales counter as required by the specific location.
• Actively monitor back orders and expedite shipments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Gather and update customer information to maintain accurate profiles and assist the Branch Manager with backorder reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent educational background.
• Minimum of one year of related experience in inside sales, customer service, or a similar role within the industry.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is mandatory.
• Working knowledge of Fairview products is a strong asset.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as picking, packing, and putting away stock orders.
