Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We are experiencing significant growth and expanding our offerings, making this an exciting time to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative working from both our Halifax and Dartmouth, NS locations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide knowledgeable product support and basic solutions for HVAC/R customers and day-to-day account needs.
  • Contribute to meeting sales targets and support overall branch revenue growth.
  • Follow up with vendors on lead times, stock availability, etc.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Complete accurate order entry, pricing, and follow-up to support smooth customer transactions.
  • Work closely with the outside sales team to help prepare quotes, enter and track customer sales orders, and ensure timely follow-up and support.
  • Competent computer skills with experience using sales, inventory, and customer management software.
  • Participate in training and development activities and support the onboarding of new team members when required.
What You Bring To The Team
  • Previous wholesale Inside Sales experience and strong HVAC/R product knowledge
  • Must possess intermediate computer skills

  • Ensure accurate and thorough completion of all paperwork
  • Adhere to safe and efficient work practices
  • Maintain diligent follow-up on tasks and customer needs

  • Must maintain an exceptionally positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Must be willing to work from either Dartmouth, NS or Halifax, NS. Location could vary each day
