Overview

Finning Canada is hiring 2 openings for an Inside Product Support Representative. This is a permanent, sales-focused, customer-driven role responsible for driving parts solutions sales to a high-volume customer base and serving as the go-to contact for customers seeking expert guidance on parts and service solutions.

The role targets approximately $3M in annual revenue and involves using digital platforms such as parts.cat.com and Cat Central to support customers in areas including undercarriage, machine rebuilds, and component options. This is a commissioned sales role with a total annual compensation target of $90,000–$105,000+ (base salary plus variable incentives).

What You’ll Do
  • Build strong relationships with assigned owner-operators and growing contractors—our Retail and Small Core customer segments—by understanding their business needs and delivering tailored parts and service solutions.
  • Engage customers proactively to understand their needs and present tailored solutions that demonstrate Finning’s value.
  • Leverage digital tools and data sources to identify opportunities and open the door to serving the customer.
  • Develop strategic call plans and account strategies to maximize customer engagement and sales performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, equipment population, and opportunities using Saleslink.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product support, equipment sales, and service teams to deliver seamless customer experiences.
  • The majority of the workday will be spent in your local facility or in front of customers, with an opportunity for a flexible work arrangement.

  • Confidence in customer-facing interactions, with a focus on consultative selling.

Experience & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-3+ years of proven success in sales, customer service, or account management.
  • Experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry is a strong asset.
  • Comfort with digital platforms and tools used in parts sales and support.
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn skills like undercarriage measuring.
