• Previous electrical construction experience in the Industrial Oil & Gas sector is required.
• Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation.

Overview

Techmation Electric & Controls Ltd is currently seeking Industrial Electrical Journeyman & Apprentices for construction projects with our Olds branch. Work is located within the area, therefore candidates must be local to the Olds area to be considered.

Techmation works on a variety of industrial oil and gas construction and maintenance projects throughout Western Canada. As a successful applicant, you will have the opportunity to work on full-time industrial projects with well-established and reputable clients.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Electricians, OR
• Registered Electrical Apprentices (1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th Year)
• Candidates must have valid Energy Safety Canada H2S Alive & Fall Protection, Standard First Aid (Level A or C with CPR / AED), and CSTS 2020 Fundamentals Certificates
• Previous electrical construction experience working within the Industrial Oil & Gas sector is required
• Must have a flexible work schedule - shiftwork, overtime, weekends, and travel
• Valid Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
