Kenjgewin Teg is seeking qualified Post-Secondary Education (PSE) full-time instructors (hybrid/remote) for the 2026 – 2027 academic year within the PSE department for the courses listed below.
The Indigenous Studies Program Certificate (ISP) is a one-year program offered over two semesters. Embedded in the program is the opportunity for graduates to achieve their Anishinaabe-aadiziwin Distinction, which involves students participating in cultural teachings and events throughout the year. Therefore, course instructors need to be aware that they are expected to support these efforts and provide regular reminders to encourage student involvement throughout each course. Quality Assurance team members will guide the successful applicants in this valuable distinction component of the program.
Introduction to Anishinaabemowin is the only half-course, i.e., 7 weeks at 22.5 hours. All other courses are full courses, i.e., 15 weeks at 45 hours each.
Please indicate in your application the course(s) to which you are applying. Interested applicants are encouraged to contact the Human Resources Department at humanresources@kenjgewinteg.ca for a full job description, which will provide the scope and an understanding of this position’s responsibilities.
Interested individuals can send a complete application package that consists of a cover letter, a detailed resume, three (3) current (within one year) references listed, two of which must be professional, and written permission to contact references. The successful candidate will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.
Applications may be submitted confidentially via email to humanresources@kenjgewinteg.ca or by mail to:
