Responsibilities

• Install satellite internet systems at customer locations.
• Mount satellite dishes on roofs or other suitable spots.
• Run cables and connect equipment for perfect signal reception.
• Configure and program satellite receivers.
• Test and troubleshoot systems.
• Provide customer service and answer questions.
• Educate customers on using their new satellite systems.

Skills

Strong knowledge of telecom systems and equipment

Experience with fiber splicing and low voltage cabling

Skilled with hand tools and network installation

Excellent problem-solving skills

Great communication abilities

Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Previous experience as a service technician
