We are seeking a compassionate and self-motivated Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as an independent contractor who will be responsible for providing mobile foot care services. Opportunities to provide clinic-based services such as blood collection, immunizations, TB Testing, and drug and alcohol screening are also available, based on demand. This position is ideal for a nurse who has strong clinical skills, and a commitment to patient safety and care.
The candidate must hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and have completed a recognized Advanced Foot Care course. They should have clinical nursing experience, ideally in the provision of advanced foot care services, home healthcare or a comparable environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, alongside the ability to work autonomously and efficiently manage time. A dedication to patient‑centred care and safety is paramount as well as strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Proficiency in blood collection, drug and alcohol screening, TB skin testing and administration of vaccines is an asset. Candidates must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
