Qualifications

• Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities and/or persons with significant learning challenges.
• Understanding of curriculum design and modification.

Responsibilities

• Attend CICE core classes to support students.
• Work with faculty to modify curricula based on student needs.
• Provide classroom support such as note-taking and lab assistance.
• Modify class material for student use.
• Determine techniques for tutorial sessions for individual students.

Skills

Proficient use of standard computer and assistive technology applications

Strong desire to help students succeed

Comfortable working with students individually

Ability to speak in front of groups

Education

Two (2) year diploma in relevant fields
