Directors' Choice is hiring Inbound Call Center Specialists. We provide essential communication services for funeral homes, requiring a unique blend of high-level empathy and sharp attention to detail.

Champion human connection by ensuring that callers are transferred correctly and the right message gets to the right person at the right time – especially if it's urgent. We are dedicated to creating a diverse community where you are valued for your unique perspective. This is an in-office position.

The Essential Duties of our Specialists are:
  • Answer a high volume of incoming calls professionally and with a polite demeanor
  • Accurately gather and provide specific information; ensure that all messages taken are documented correctly with pertinent information
  • Follow all required processes and procedures
  • Attend and successfully complete required Call Center training
The Skills and Qualifications we look for are:
  • The ability to demonstrate verbal and written communication skills, specifically: spelling, grammar and diction.
  • Use professional phone voice communicating customer care and concern.
  • Demonstrated active‑listening skills to gain client information and ability to ask appropriate questions.
  • Demonstrated accurate and fast typing skills.
  • Use PC/computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED and be 18 years of age.

Compensation: $17/hour

Shifts Offered:
  • Full Time, 8-hour shifts
  • You must be available to work afternoons/evenings, a weekend shift, and holidays
  • Paid training is three weeks, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
