In-home caregiver – private home – PaLe… family

NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (30 hours per week). Flexible hours are required. English or French. Job start date is September 1, 2025

Salary: Wage offered is between $34.62 per hour.

Location: PaLe… lives in Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is St Laurent boul., & Boul. René Lévesque.

Duties

1. This job is to help with the care of a 13 year old child.
2. Supervision of child when parent is not at home,
3. Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise,
4. Discipline child according to the methods requested by the parents,
5. Instruct child in personal hygiene and social development,
6. Plan, prepare and serve meals for child. Kitchen clean-up is also required,
7. General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing of school uniforms.
8. Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications

1. Must have completed at minimum Canadian secondary school education
2. Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3. Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, patient, and able to manage the job without supervision.
