Job summary

A regional plant merchandising company is seeking Floral Field Merchandisers in Kingston, Eastern Ontario. You will be responsible for merchandising plant programs at various retail locations, maintaining inventory, and ensuring product placement. This casual/seasonal role requires flexibility and the ability to work independently, as well as knowledge of plants and strong customer service skills.

Overview

Start Date: September 29, 2025

We are recruiting for Floral Field Merchandisers to work within a designated region on behalf of growers to merchandise plant programs in large retailers.

You will be responsible for travelling to retail locations, locating incoming orders, ensuring they are placed on the sales floor, managing inventory, pricing and providing maintenance on all items in the retail locations in a designated region.

Store visits occur approx 2-4 times per month and in store time ranges from 45min-1 hr in length per location. Pay is paid at a flat rate for each location visited.

Visits can be completed anytime during store hours within the allotted time frame provided by grower request.

Responsibilities

• Travel to designated retail locations within a region to merchandise plant programs.
• Locate incoming orders, place products on the sales floor, and maintain inventory and pricing.
• Provide ongoing maintenance on all items in assigned retail locations.
• Adhere to grower requests for timing and duration of store visits.
