Job summary

A consulting engineering firm is seeking an Intermediate Certified Engineering Technologist in Muskoka District, Ontario. This role focuses on land development and municipal infrastructure projects, requiring 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, particularly in a consulting environment. Responsibilities include preparing CAD drawings, coordinating with project teams, and mentoring junior staff. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is essential. Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably from consulting engineering.
• Familiarity with Municipal & Regional design standards.
• Experience in detailed design drawing preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare preliminary and detailed CAD drawings for projects.
• Coordinate drawings with project managers and CAD staff.
• Work under the direction of Senior Staff.

Skills

Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Strong computer software skills in Word, Excel & MS Project

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities

Independent and organized team player
