Job description

Sideworx Connectoffers positions for both employees and independent contractors. We specialize in placing short‑term and seasonal employees, allowing you control over your schedule and a chance to explore a multitude of projects.

We’re seeking skilled Hydrovac Operators to join our roster.

Job Duties / Responsibilities
  • Drive the hydrovac truck to and from the site
  • Operate the hydrovac truck
  • Dig and direct swampers
  • Ensure the successful completion of hydro excavation processes
  • Provide high-quality work while working efficiently
  • Comply with company policies and procedures, health and safety procedures, department of transportation, and hazardous / waste requirement regulations
  • Willingness to work a 12‑hour rotating shift schedule (including night, weekends, holidays, and overtime)
  • Travel is required and certain jobs may be eligible for Living Out Allowance
Qualifications
  • Valid Class 3 LicensewithAirbrake Endorsement
  • H2S Alive
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C
  • Common Safety Orientation (CSO)
  • Ability to successfully pass a pre‑employment drug and alcohol test

Preference given to applicants with additional experience and safety tickets, such as :

  • Class 1 License
  • Clean Drivers Abstract
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) & WHMIS
  • Ground Disturbance Level II
  • Confined Space Entry & Monitor
