Job summary

A leading clean energy solutions company in Surrey, B.C., is looking for a Project Engineer to manage hydrogen infrastructure projects. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant engineering discipline and a minimum of 4 years of experience in hydrogen or related industries. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, proficiency in engineering software tools like AutoCAD or SolidWorks, and the ability to work independently in a safety-sensitive environment. A valid BC driver's license is necessary, and candidates may face pre-employment testing.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in hydrogen, oil & gas, or related industries.
  • Proven experience with HAZOP studies or other risk assessments.
  • Hands-on experience with high-pressure hydrogen equipment (>10,000 psi) is an asset.
  • Valid BC driver's license and ability to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Manage hydrogen infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Provide engineering expertise throughout design, procurement, and construction.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Skills

Strong ability to work independently and solve complex technical challenges
Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks
Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

Education

Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Chemical/Process Engineering
