Job summary

A leading HR consulting firm is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for a 6-month contract. This hybrid role will involve processing employee changes, supporting onboarding activities, and ensuring accurate data management. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in HR, 2-4 years of experience, and proficiency in Microsoft products. The position is office-based for at least 2 days a week in Burnaby, with an hourly rate between $30 and $32 plus vacation pay.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of Human Resources experience in an operational and administrative capacity.
  • Knowledge of Canadian and US employment, human rights, privacy and immigration laws.
  • Process oriented with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Draft documentation and obtain approvals for employee changes.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities including scheduling and communication.
  • Ensure timely and accurate data entry into the HRIS.
