Overview

HVAC Technician

We're currently looking for a Plumber and HVAC Technician on behalf of a large company in various aspects of production and in operation for over 20 years. The client specializes in Warehousing, Logistics, Construction, and Technology Development within Farming and HVAC. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of the principals of the company and designers.

Note: Our client is offering convenient and affordable transportation for team members residing in Ottawa to their Chesterville facility. A dedicated car service ensures you arrive at work hassle-free, right from your doorstep or a nearby location.

Job Details
  • Pay: $24/hour to start (Based on experience and negotiable)
  • $27/hour to start if licensed
  • Hours: 8am-5pm
  • Shifts: Monday-Friday
  • Location: Chesterville, ON
Responsibilities
  • Install plumbing systems and fixtures according to specs/drawings.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes while working with the in-house design team.
  • Maintain and inspect plumbing systems.
  • Work with various pipe materials (e.g., copper, PVC, PEX).
  • Utilize tools and equipment for plumbing tasks.
  • Must have experience or be able to quickly learn installation of different HVAC components including heaters, assembly of ductwork, valves, etc., balancing of the system, troubleshooting & fix, experience an asset.
Requirements
  • Current and Valid 313A Ticket.
  • Minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience.
  • Must be able to understand and follow detailed verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and communicate effectively in a team setting.
  • The ability to read and interpret drawings and plans is an asset.
  • Experience with basic hand and power tools and their use.
  • Lifting may be required with assistance provided if needed.
  • Proven experience maintaining a clean and organized work environment and reporting to work on time as scheduled.
  • Criminal Record Check may be required as part of the onboarding process.
