A global shipping company is looking for an HR Manager to lead various HR functions, from recruitment to employee engagement. This role is pivotal in enhancing employee experience and ensuring compliance with labor laws. Ideal candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree and over 5 years of HR experience, paired with strong negotiation and project management skills. Main Purpose of the Role:
The HR Manager role is a critical part of the ZIM HR team, whose primary responsibility is leading and directing various functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including: employee experience, employee engagement, interviewing and hiring staff, assisting with compensation, benefits, and leave administration, running payroll, leading training and other employee development duties, enforcing company policies and practices, and partnering with business leaders to help define and execute on HR deliverables.
The role is a mix of strategic and tactical work. There will, however, be opportunities to work on project-based initiatives that are broader in scope and scale, potentially even global in nature. This is an exciting role for someone who is interested in leaving their own imprint on a growing, international business!
