Reporting to the Director of Human Resources (East & Central region), the Bilingual Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) plays a strategic role in nurturing and inspiring a hospitality culture and ensures Aramark delivers a best- in-class employee experience in the Quebec market.
Working with teams at various operations across the Province, the HRBP will provide guidance and support to managers and employees, including supporting Aramark’s partnership with our Indigenous communities, in a wide range of HR program areas including recruitment, learning and development, employee and labour relations, employee engagement, benefit administration and HR policy and practice compliance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Support our Indigenous partners in the development of plans and targets to recruit, employ and retain employees in their communities in which Aramark does business.
  • Facilitate the resolution of general employee relations issues; provide direction and guidance to all levels of leadership, ensure fairness and consistency of policy and practice.
  • Provide consultation to managers on policies and compliance regarding employment-related matters.
  • Support learning, development and engagement initiatives in order to create and maintain a hospitality culture.
  • Partner with leadership teams to support mobilization efforts.
  • Collaborates with managers to address employee and labour relations issues, conduct investigations, and implements compliant, resolution-focused approaches.
  • Interact with internal teams and external resources to acquire needed information to lead work to completion
  • Manage internal leaves of absence cases to include general administration, comprehensive case management, and compliance with all related policies and employment laws
  • Review HR dashboard metrics daily to optimize efficiency and ensure work is completed
  • Assist with HR projects and initiatives as the need arises
Qualifications
  • 3 + years of experience in employee relations or related experience
  • Previous experience partnering with Indigenous communities
  • Fluently bilingual (written and spoken) in English and French is required
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or an equivalent experience required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to influence others on policies, practices, and procedure
  • Effective at capturing and synthesizing information from multiple parties
  • Solid understanding of employment laws
  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly personal information daily and maintain confidentiality in a mature and insightful manner
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with HR systems
  • Must own a vehicle and have a driver’s license in good standing
