What you will do:

Hourly Amusement Player, Front of House

Our Amusement Player, Front of House team provides an exceptional entertainment experience to each and every guest. The Amusement Player operates all major attractions and is an expert on gaming within the facility, helping answer and curate the gaming experience for both experienced and non‑experienced gamers. Cineplex Entertainment, headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, is recruiting the position of Hourly Amusement Player – The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall, reporting to the Service Manager. This position will be based at The Rec Room West Edmonton Mall, 8882 170 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5T 4J2.

Responsibilities

• Upsell games by showcasing game operations, encouraging guests to play, and creating an overall fun, playful environment.
• Ensure all games and individual stations are clean, well‑maintained, fully operational, and assist with restocking the Store.
• Serve as a trusted resource for guests’ inquiries and concerns, and possess a working knowledge of the venue’s pricing for special events, promotions, and daily events.

Qualifications

• For licensed venues, evidence of being of the required age of majority or older.
• Preferable experience in customer service.
• Ability to complete tasks with attention to detail.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Provincially applicable sell, sale, and handling of alcohol certificate.
