Job summary

A home care service provider in Spruce Grove, AB, is seeking caregivers to assist clients with personal care, hygiene, and companionship. The ideal candidates should hold a secondary school graduation certificate, CPR, and First Aid certifications. Experience with elderly or disabled individuals is preferred. This is a full-time permanent role with a pay rate of $25.00 hourly, requiring 30 to 40 hours a week. Individuals must reside in Canada and have the required work authorization. Immediate start is available.

Qualifications

  • A valid CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate are necessary.
  • Experience with persons with disabilities, especially Alzheimer's disease or elderly care.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of relevant caregiving experience.

Responsibilities

  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients.
  • Assist clients with bathing and hygiene.
  • Aid in regular exercise activities such as walking.
  • Feed clients or assist them with feeding.
  • Perform light housekeeping and laundry tasks.
  • Shop for food and household supplies.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
