About Your Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Higher Level Learning Support Assistant to join our team. Coastland College is a vibrant, inclusive, and forward-thinking FE college committed to providing outstanding education and support for all learners. Our Learning Support Team plays a crucial role in ensuring learners with additional needs achieve their full potential.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Higher Level Learning Support Assistant (HLLSA) to join our dynamic team based on the Kingston Maurward campus of our college. You will play a key role in supporting learners with a range of additional needs, including learning difficulties, disabilities, autism, and social, emotional, or mental health challenges.

Working closely with teaching staff, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of learning activities, implement support strategies, and promote independence and inclusion across the college. You will be a compassionate and proactive individual with a genuine commitment to inclusive education. You’ll have experience supporting young people or adults with additional learning needs in an educational setting and be confident in adapting your approach to meet diverse learner needs.
