A regional healthcare authority in Winnipeg is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to assist tradespersons with various tasks. The ideal candidate will have a Grade 12 education and two years of experience in trades-related maintenance. This role may require heavy lifting and work in confined spaces. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge of Indigenous customs and traditions. Interested candidates should apply as soon as possible.
Under the direction of the Shop Supervisor, independently performs a variety of minor tasks and assists tradespersons or other maintenance personnel in their job function.
Preference will be given to those applicants competent in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs, traditions and values.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
