Bayshore is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Health Care Aides / Caregivers / Personal Support Workers to join our Talent Pool. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional care and support to our clients, ensuring their comfort, safety and well-being. This position is based outside Spruce Grove, Alberta.

You must be registered in the HCA Directory to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
  • Offer companionship and accompany clients to community activities and events
  • Administer personal care services in accordance with care plan directives
  • Ensure the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of clients to the highest standard
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, tailored to meet their specific needs
  • Perform specialized procedures for clients where training has been provided while maintaining current competency
  • Observe and document client conditions according to company standards; promptly report any changes to the Supervisor or Office
  • Implement and adhere to infection prevention practices

Requirements
  • HCA Directory Registration in Alberta
  • Negative TB Test from within the past 6 months
  • Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector from within the past 6 months

  • Provide comprehensive homemaking services, including cleaning, cooking, laundry, and general household management
  • Strong knowledge of caregiving principles and customer service
  • Ability to communicate in English (French proficiency is an asset)
  • Provide high-quality care services with current knowledge of community care practices
  • Physically able to assist with movement and repositioning (lift up to 23 kgs, squat, bend, stand, reach)
  • Reliable transportation; driver\'s license and automobile
