Responsibilities And Duties
  • Passion for delivering Happier Aging and client focused care in home and community settings
  • Assisting clients with activities of daily living: meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, personal care
  • Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
  • Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
  • Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
  • Reviewing progress notes prior to a visit, completing records and documentation accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested.
  • Service the Sunshine Coast area
  • Visit times (7am – 8pm) weekdays and weekends
Requirements
  • 2 years previous caregiving experience
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #)
  • Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
  • Must be able to legally work in BC, Canada to apply for this position
  • Valid driver’s license
