Head Chef
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of performance
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality, consistency, and presentation of dishes
- Develop and update menus in collaboration with management, incorporating current culinary trends and customer preferences
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety and handling regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to optimize kitchen operations
- Train new staff members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and service standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in compliance with health regulations
- Lead by example in serving guests with professionalism and hospitality
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting, ideally as a Head Chef or Executive Chef
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food service operations
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse culinary teams
- Demonstrated restaurant management experience including inventory control, menu development, and staff training
- In‑depth knowledge of food handling procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Prior experience working within the food industry or hospitality sector is highly desirable
- Leadership qualities combined with excellent communication skills to foster a positive work environment
- Familiarity with serving guests directly is advantageous for maintaining high service standards
