Guest Experience Agent – Jasper Columbia Icefield

Pursuit Collection is currently hiring for a full‑time seasonal role in Spring/Summer 2026 at the Jasper Columbia Icefield. The position offers an hourly wage of $18.50 per hour and is based in Jasper, AB. Applicants will work in a remote but social environment, assisting guests at the Glacier Discovery Centre (GDC).

Responsibilities

• Direct guests through parking and arrival areas, providing a warm welcome before entering the GDC.
• Educate guests on Pursuit attractions and guide them through the purchasing process.
• Provide information on the local area and assist with tour group check‑in, coordinating with Dispatch for any changes.
• Validate tickets as guests begin the Columbia Icefield Adventure and Skywalk tours.
• Load and coordinate guests and tour groups on/off Coaches and/or Ice Explorers.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately, including handling cash, credit cards, and cash‑out forms.
• Communicate with colleagues and management, forwarding observations and comments in a timely fashion.
• Uphold environmental stewardship standards expected of all employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Organizational and time‑management skills; passion for guest service.
• Enjoy working in a remote, social setting and outdoors in challenging mountain weather.
• Prior guest‑service and cash‑handling experience is an asset.
• Guest‑service‑oriented mindset with a desire to deliver memorable experiences.
• Ability to think on the fly, problem‑solve, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Second language a plus, as well as mature, energetic, dependable, and self‑motivated.
• Team‑player in a busy, fast‑paced environment with good conflict‑resolution skills.
• Comfortable standing on your feet for extended periods, indoors and outdoors.
• Prepared for all‑season weather (snow, rain, wind, hail).
• Consent to a criminal record check.
• Standard First‑Aid or higher certification is an asset.
